Stepper motors are engaged stator and rotor like gear type protuberances. It can rotate gradually at a certain angle by switching current to stator coil. Stepper motor converts electrical power into mechanical power which can divide a full rotation into an expansive number of steps. The motor's position can be controlled accurately without any feedback mechanism, as long as the motor is carefully sized to the application.
Stepper motor is an actuator that converts electric pulse into angular displacement. When the stepper driver receives a pulse signal, it drives the stepper motor to rotate at a fixed angle (called "stepping angle") in a set direction. It rotates step by step at a fixed angle. The angular displacement can be controlled by controlling the number of pulses, so as to achieve the purpose of accurate positioning. At the same time, the speed and acceleration of motor rotation can be controlled by controlling the pulse frequency, so as to achieve the purpose of speed regulation.
